Felix R. Raymond

Felix R. Raymond, 83, of Topton, and formerly Conshohocken, died July 14, 2013, at the Lutheran Home at Topton. He was the husband of Mary A. (Fiori) Raymond for 57 years.

Born in Conshohocken, he was a son of the late Joseph and Lucy (D'Ettore) Raymond.

He was a 1948 graduate of Conshohocken High School. He earned an associate degree from Temple University.

He was in the U.S. Army and served during the Korean conflict where he was with an engineering battalion for 18 months on the 39th Parallel.

He was a partner in Advanced Tank Systems, Colmar, from 1999 until his death. He earlier worked for Callis-Thompson, Ambler and Colmar, from 1965 to 1990.

He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Kutztown, and a former member of Ss. Cosmos and Damian Catholic Church, Conshohocken.

He was a member of the Delaware Valley Fuel Dealers Association, Fuel Merchants Association of New Jersey, Oil Heat Association of South Jersey, and the Pennsylvania Petroleum Association.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by five children, Joseph and his wife Diane of Sanatoga, Mary Lynch of Whitehall, Michael of New Hope, Albert and Deborah of Forks Township, and David F. and his wife Karen of Montgomery Township; 10 grandchildren; a great-grandson, Wyatt James Matejicka; a sister, Connie Raymond of Conshohocken; and a brother Peter of East Norriton.

He was predeceased by a brother, William; a sister-in-law, Frances; and a son-in-law, Dr. James Lynch.
