Ruth A. Mack

Ruth A. Mack, 82, of Breinigsville, died on Dec. 19, 2012, in Lehigh Valley Hospital.

She was the wife of Jack C. Mack.

Born in Nuremburg, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Amelia (Treltz) Nicolodi.

She was a telephone operator for Bell Telephone and later a sales clerk for the former H. Leh and Company, Sears, Hess's and Bon-Ton.

She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Orefield.

She volunteered at Lehigh Valley Hospital for more than 20 years and was a member of Alburtis Senior Citizens and a former member of the Emmaus Lioness Club.

She was a longtime bowler and a member of the 600 Club.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by children Carl R. of Breinigsville, Peg A. and her husband Dale R. DeFrain, of Mertztown, Jack A. and his wife, Patricia D., of Emmaus, Thomas B. and his wife, Yvette M., of Emmaus and Diane M. and companion, Keith Caserta, of Mechanicsburg, Ohio; sister Jane Marino of Sewell, N.J.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Derr, and brother, Arthur.

Contributions may be made to one's favorite charity in her name.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. on Dec. 27 in St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 1879 Applewood Drive, Orefield.

Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. in the church.
