Institute for Jewish-Christian Understanding at Muhlenberg College will be hosting guest speaker Rev. Peter Pettit Ph.D., from Muhlenberg College, 7-8 p.m. Jan. 3 through Feb. 7, 2013, at The Saal, Bahnson Center, Moravian Theological Seminary, 60 W. Locust St., Bethlehem.

Pettit will be discussing "New Paths: Christians Engaging Israel."

IJCU will also be hosting Roberta Meek, lecturer from the History and Media and Communication Departments at Muhlenberg College, from noon-1 p.m. Jan. 4, 2013, in Moyer Hall, Miller Forum.

Meek will be discussing "The Legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr."

Bring lunch. Soft drinks may be purchased in the room. Leave ample time to locate on-street parking.

Programs are free and open to the public.
