Ruth E. Reichard, 92, of Macun-gie, died December 21, 2012, in Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the wife of the late Wilbur F. Reichard. Born in Brookdale, she was the daughter of the late Howard N. and Helen (Hilbert) Schueck.

She was a 1938 graduate of Emmaus High School.

She worked for Allen Organ for 30 years, retiring in 1980.

She was a life-time member of Grace Lutheran Church, Macungie and a life member of the Macungie VFW and Macungie Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by a son, Richard C. and his wife Kathleen of Emmaus; daughter, Barbara L. and her husband Richard Holben of Zionsville; brother, William and his wife Helen of Alburtis; sister, Dorothy Landis of Alburtis; grandchildren, Jill, Matthew, Anne, and Michael; seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29 in the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
