Ruth A. Mack, 82, of Breinigsville, died December 19, 2012, in Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the wife of Jack C. Mack. Born in Nuremburg, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Amelia (Treltz) Nicolodi.

She worked as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone and later as a sales clerk for the former H. Leh and Company, Sears, Hess's, and Bon-Ton.

She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Orefield.

She volunteered at Lehigh Valley Hospital for over 20 years and was a member of the Alburtis Senior Citizens and a former member of the Emmaus Lioness Club. She was a long-time bowler and a member of the 600 Club.

She is survived by her husband; children, Carl R. of Breinigsville, Peg A. and her husband Dale R. DeFrain, of Mertztown, Jack A. and his wife, Patricia D., of Emmaus, Thomas B. and his wife, Yvette M., of Emmaus and Diane M. and companion, Keith Caserta, of Mechanicsburg, Ohio; sister, Jane Marino of Sewell, N.J.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Derr and brother, Arthur.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 27 in St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 1879 Applewood Dr., Orefield. Friends may call 10 to 11 a.m. in the church. Arrangements were made by the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C. Emmaus.
