Mary Alice Schoch, 80, of Emmaus, died December 18, 2012, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. She was the wife of Robert C. Schoch. They were married for 63 years this past Nov. 19. Born in Emmaus, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Florence (Hartman) Lorah.

She was active in Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts when her children were young.

She worked part time for Rodale Press and also volunteered for the Osteopathic Hospital, Allentown.

She was a member of St. John's UCC Church, Emmaus.

She is survived by her husband; children, Jane of Emmaus, Lynn and her husband Tom Laudenslager, of Emmaus, Ray and his wife, Ann, of Macungie; grandchildren, Shawn Kramer, Eric McGee, Angela Felty, and Christopher; great-grandchildren, Ethan and Jaxon Kramer, Kaitlyn and Andrew Felty; sisters, Virginia Schaffer and her late husband, Paul, Mildred Gross and her husband Russell. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Christy, who died in 2009.
