Vincent A. Siravo

Vincent A. Siravo, 87, from Topton, died Dec. 12, 2012, in Emeritus Senior Living, Allentown.

He was the widower of Evelyn C. (Alves) Siravo.

Born in Elizabeth, N.J., he was a son of the late Anthony and Filemena (Bisco) Siravo.

He was an engineer at the former Stroh Brewery, Fogelsville, for 25 years.

A member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Orefield, he was a member of the Knights of Columbus 4th degree.

He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II in Yankee Division 328 Battalion Cannon Company and fought in the Battle of the Bulge.

His survivors include sons Anthony and wife Dorothy of Topton and Gary and wife Pat of Breinigsville; brothers Frank and Michael, both of Elizabeth, N.J., and Rocko of Port Murray, N.J.; sisters Antoinette Cistrelli of Elizabeth, N.J.; grandchildren Melissa Hensinger and Christine Siravo; great-grandaughter Caroline Varela; nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by sisters Angelica Milano and Jean Grunder.
