Norman R. Stephens, 66, of New Tripoli, died Dec. 9, 2012, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg Campus, Bethlehem.
He and his wife, Deborah E. (Jones) Stephens, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on May 6.
Born June 9, 1946, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Norman C. and Jane E. (Williams) Stephens.
He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He was a forklift operator at Americold Logistics, Fogelsville, before retiring in 2006.
Prior to that, he was a technician at the former Western Union, Allentown.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Michael R. and his wife, Ann, Amanda C. Huber and her husband Wade, all of New Tripoli; sister, Deanna K. Stephens of Brookhaven; grandson Chase W. Huber; and beloved pups, Annie and Lola.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Dec. 14, in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with the Rev. Dr. David Charles Smith officiating.
Family and friends may pay their respects from 10-11 a.m. Friday, in the funeral home.
Interment with military honors will follow the service at Grandview Cemetery, Allentown.
