Parkland Community Library, 4422 Walbert Avenue, Allentown, will be holding the following events.

Night at the Movies will be presented 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 12 in the township building, 4444 Walbert Ave., South Whitehall Township.

Daddy and Me storytimes for children 2-5 years of age will take place at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 15.

Gingerbread house building and decorating for grades four through six is being offered 5-6 p.m. Dec. 18.

Registration is required for the Baby and Me and Daddy and Me storytimes and the gingerbread house building event.

The library's book group Book Quest for adults will meet to discuss "Mighty Be Our Powers" by Leymah Gbowee 7 p.m. Dec. 19. New members are welcome.

Join the library's new discussion group for adults Books into Movies to discuss the book "The Pursuit of Happyness" by Chris Gardner 7 p.m. on Dec. 26.

Spend a fun afternoon swapping knitting tips and tricks 1:30-4 p.m. Dec. 27. Just bring knitting materials and enthusiasm. The Knitting Circle is for knitters of all ages and skill levels.

All events are open to the public.
