Gov. Tom Corbett has extended the deadline to apply for Pennsylvania's Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program for older adults and residents with disabilities from June 30 until Dec. 31.
The program helps Pennsylvanians ages 65 and above, widows and widowers ages 50 and above and people with disabilities ages 18 and above.
The income limit is $35,000 a year for homeowners and $15,000 annually for renters.
Applicants may acquire Property Tax, Rent Rebate claim forms and related information at revenue.state.pa.us or by calling 1-888-222-9190.
Forms also can be found at Department of Revenue district offices, local Area Agencies on Aging, senior centers or state legislators' offices.
