Ruth Ann (Urffer) Rivera, 42, of Macungie, died December 7, 2012. She was the wife of Hector M. Rivera Jr. for eight years. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Charles H. Jr. and Valeria (Crouthamel) Urffer. She was a homemaker.

She was an avid reader and loved children. She was a member of Chestnut Hill Church, Coopersburg.

She is survived by her husband; stepdaughter, Cheyenne; sister, Judy (James) Calhoun.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15 at Chestnut Hill Church, 6870 Chestnut Hill Church Rd., Coopersburg. Viewing will take place 10 to 11 a.m. in the church. Arrangements were made by the Anders-Detweiler Funeral Home & Crematory, Souderton.
