Plan to visit the Lehigh Township Historical Centre in December.

On Dec. 9, there will be a holiday open house from 1 to 4 p.m. at the historical centre, Indian Trail Park, Pennsville.

The museum offers many displays and items for purchase. There are many historical items available for the history buffs on your holiday gift list.

Also, mark your calendar for the free historical programs to be presented on Jan. 28, and Feb. 25, at 7 p.m., at Hope Lutheran Church, in Cherryville.

In January, you will want to hear the presentation by members of Lehigh Township Volunteer Fire Company and learn how they serve the community and the important work that they do.

A question-and-answer time will follow the presentation.

On Feb. 25, speaker Dave Schneck will talk about the world of baseball. He played baseball at Whitehall High School and was drafted to play with the New York Mets.

He will speak about his experiences as a professional baseball player.

Following the presentations, light refreshments will be served.

If groups would like to attend, they are asked to call 610-767-5989.
