Hazel M. Wehr Kidd, 91, of Slatington, died on Nov. 27, 2012, in Liza's House, Danielsville.

She was the wife of the late Frederick W. Kidd and Walter W. Wehr.

Born Sept. 28, 1921, in Nazareth, she was the daughter of the late Granville F. and Annie M. (Mayer) Flick.

She faithfully and honorably served her country in the U.S. Army during World War II with a WAC Detachment at Camp Shanks, N.Y.

She was a bookkeeper for the former Holiday Fashions, Slatedale, for 16 years before retiring in 1981.

Prior to that, she worked for the former Marcus Undergarments for 19 years.

She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Slatington.

Her survivors include a brother, Samuel A. Flick and his wife, Mary, of Stroudsburg; sister, Hannah L. Daubenspeck of Slatington; nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by siblings, Stella G. Scheirer and Norman A. Flick.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Nov. 30, in Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with Pastor Henry A. Distler officiating.

Family and friends may pay their respects 12:30-1:30 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.

Interment with military honors will follow the service at Union Cemetery, Slatington.
