Walter "Walt" George Denkowski, 60, of Zionsville, died November 22, 2012, in Quakertown. Born in King of Prussia, he was the son of the late Walter and Natalie Denkowski.

He graduated from Upper Merion High School in 1971 and earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology, from Ursinus College, Collegeville in 1975, where he as a member of Beta Sigma Lambda fraternity.

He worked as a key executive at Milliken Valve Company, Bethlehem for 12 years.

He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and exploring new places and ideas.

He is survived by his fiancee, Debra Bloss of Zionsville; daughters, Jennifer and her husband Bryan VanderGast of Gilbertsville, and Jessica of Barto; brother, Mark and his wife Susan of Houston, Texas; sister, Suzanne and her husband Michael Marshall of Crisfield, Md.; nieces, Courtney Shirar, Leah Marshall, Alexandra, and Kristina Witt; nephews, Michael Marshall Jr. and William Witt; former wife, Donna of Gilbertsville; loving family friend, Andrea Latzko.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust St., Philadelpha, 19103.

His family will receive condolences 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until his funeral service 11 a.m. at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Ave. (Rt. 202 and Sandy Ridge Road) in New Britain.
