Santa to call, write letters

Santa is planning to take a work break to say hello and/or write a letter to your children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and any other child who might like to hear from him.

Because Santa can't possibly call and write to everyone in the world in that short period of time, Santa has asked the teams of the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life of Whitehall to help him prepare his schedule.

To say thank you to the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life teams, Santa will donate $7 for each call he makes, $6 for each letter he writes and $10 for both a call and a letter. Calls will be made and letters written 6:15-8:15 p.m. Dec. 3-6.

The required form to get your call or letter can be found on the website of Shari Noctor, chairwoman of the Whitehall Relay for Life.

At the bottom right, participants are asked to list the relay team they are supporting. The Whitehall teams already registered can be found by visiting www.relayforlife.org/pawhitehall. Click on the name of the team or the participants.

Many parents have commented that their children were so excited that Santa took time from his busy schedule to call or write them in the past. Santa always reminds kids to be good all year.

Also, Santa is looking for men to assist the cancer society. If you are interested in helping, or if you have any questions, contact Shari Noctor at 610-266-5241 or Lauren Seneca at the American Cancer Society at 610-921-2329 ext 3006.
