With all of the signs of the holiday season approaching, the Lehigh Township Historical Society announces two dates in December for a holiday open house.

The historical center will be open for visitors and shoppers 1-4 p.m. Dec. 2 and Dec. 9.

Many unique items available for purchase include maps, ornaments, shirts, DVDs and books.

Two free educational programs are set for Jan. 28 and Feb. 25 at Hope Lutheran Church. More details will follow.

The public is invited to the historical society's regular monthly meetings held the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. Volunteers are always sought.
