Emma I. Ifkovits, 91, of Northampton, died Nov. 11, 2012, at home. She was the wife of the late Edward J. Ifkovits.

Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Markus and Anna (Hammel) Stoisits.

She was a presser for the former Clyde Shirt Company, Northampton.

She was a member of Queenship of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Northampton. At the church, she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society, the choir and Women's Guild.

She was a member of the former St. Joseph Sick and Beneficial Society, Northampton.

She is survived by a son, The Rev. Edward M. Ikovits, S.J., of Wernersville; a daughter, Gerry Ifkovits, with whom she resided; and two sisters, Anna Stoisits of Bethlehem and Rose Loikits of N.J.

She was predeceased by five brothers, Rudolph, Albert, Edward (Ted), Stephen and Markus.

Contributions may be made to the church or to the Jesuit Center of Wernersville, both c./o the funeral home.
