Mary Kovacs, 93, of Allentown, died November 13, 2012, at the St. Luke's Hospice House, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Louis Kovacs, who died in 2000. They were married for 60 years. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Skubenich) Skrip.

She was employed by the Warner/Laros Co. of Bethlehem, where she worked in the office for many years.

She was a former member of Ss. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

She is survived by daughters, Carole Sullivan of Macungie and Marylou Renaldo and her fiance, Robert E. Ward of Slatington; brother, George Skrip of Florida; grandchildren, Brent Strohm and Courtney and her husband Patrick Taggart; great-granddaughter, Skylar Taggart. She was predeceased by brothers, Michael, John, Charles, Peter, Andrew and Joseph; sisters, Ann Petraitis and Helen Rosko.

Contributions may be made to the St. Luke's Hospice House and sent to the St. Luke's Development Office, 801 Ostrum St., Bethlehem, 18015.

Services are private. Arrangements were made by the Connell Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
