Players of the Stage, a community theater group for local students that aims to glorify God through the art of drama is taking to the stage once again this holiday season to perform "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" 7 p.m. Nov. 29, Dec. 1, 6, 7, and 8 and 2 p.m. Dec. 1 and 8 at Living Hope Presbyterian Church, 330 Schantz Road, Allentown.
This heartwarming Christmas classic is about less-fortunate children who find their way into a church building to get dessert and end up taking control of the small town's Christmas pageant.
Tickets are free but reservations are required.
In lieu of a ticket price, an offering will be taken and all money raised will benefit the Allentown Rescue Mission.

The Mission aims to end homelessness one person at a time and in some cases, prevent it.
Its programs and services include the Gateway Center, the Christian Living and Values Program, the Clean Team and housing.
