Joan E. Arndt, 78, of Emmaus, died November 15, 2012, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of the late Gerald M. Arndt who died Dec. 24, 2002. Born in Emmaus, she was the daughter of the late Mahlon C. and Lillian E. (Walbert) Brey.

She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Emmaus.

She is survived by daughters, Susan A. and her husband Bruce Lehman, Karen J. and her husband Anthony Kollar and Tracy L. Andrews; sons, Kenneth B. and Dale J. and his wife Kathy, all of Emmaus; sister, Patricia Eisenhard; brothers, Richard and Ronald; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandsons.
