The Northampton Borough Municipal Building, 1401 Laubach Ave., will be closed Nov. 22 and 23 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

The borough's annual tree-lighting ceremony will be held Sunday, Nov. 25, 5:30 p.m., at Main Street and Laubach Avenue. The rain date is Nov. 26.

Santa will arrive via a fire truck with treats for the kids.

The Northampton Memorial Community Center, 16th Street and Laubach Avenue, hosts bingo every Monday night. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the games begin at 7 p.m. The kitchen is open. Proceeds benefit the Northampton Recreation Center.
