Edward C. Hilt, 60, of Slatington, died Nov. 2, 2012, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Edward F. and Stephanie (Yastrop) Hilt.

He and his wife Elaine M. (Torick) Hilt were married 26 years.

He attended St. John's UCC, Fullerton, and was an avid fisherman and member of Grouse Hall.

A 1970 graduate of Whitehall High School, he was a member of District Council 21 Painters and Allied Trades Union Local 1269, working most of his career for Duggan and Marcon.

His survivors include a daughter Tammy M., wife of John Hilt, of Emmaus; son Edward C. Jr. and his wife, Sara, of Schnecks-ville; grandson Chase; and sister Lonnie Cadorette and her husband, Joe, of Florida;
