Bath column
The Bath Fire Company and Social Club, 125 S. Walnut St. (Rt. 512), Bath, will hold its fall turkey raffle on Sat., Nov. 17. The doors open at 11:30 a.m.
A hot meal and refreshments will be served.
There are 25 turkeys and 15 spins, and spins include five different selections.
You must be present at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. for the $50 door prizes. A final drawing will be held for $50.

The Bath Area Food Bank will host a fundraiser at Barbara's Treasures, 69 S. Broad St. (191), Nazareth, Monday, Nov. 19.
Save the date and support the food bank. The event is from 4 to 7 p.m., with a "Taste of Christmas."
Find some new winter favorite flavors in foods and drink and get a jump start on your Christmas shopping.

The Bath Area Food Bank continues to grow. A total of 194 families registered. Unfortunately, the cupboard is almost bare.
The following items are needed desperately: canned tomato soup, canned chicken noodle soup, canned peas, canned pork and beans, Jell-O and instant pudding.

Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Moorestown will host the Bath Area Council of Churches Thanksgiving Eve Service for a celebration of giving thanks.
The service begins with special music at 7 p.m. Choirs from all area churches will join in praise.

The Bath Lion's Club will hold a special winter coat drive this month in an effort to help wounded veterans keep warm this winter.
New or used coats in good condition will be collected on Saturday, Nov. 17, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the fellowship hall of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 209 E. Main St.
The Lions, in turn, will donate all the coats to the Purple Heart Foundation, which assists wounded veterans and their families.

Emmanuel's Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, Moore Township, will have a fall clean-up day Saturday, Nov. 17, at 9 a.m.
If anyone is interested and could give of their time, come on down with rakes, blowers, weed-pulling devices and hedge trimmers.

Emmanuel's would also like to ask that all summer and fall flowers and artificial flowers from the cemetery be removed by Friday, Nov. 16, in preparation for the Christmas holiday and outdoor cleanup.
Anything left on the cemetery will be thrown in the Dumpster.
Please do not place Christmas arrangements on the cemetery until after Thanksgiving. Thank you for your cooperation.
