Theodore A. Brent, 59, of Zionsville, died November 6, 2012, as a result of a motor vehicle accident. He was the husband of Linda A. (Persa) Brent. They celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary in August, 2012. Born in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, he was the son of Bruce and Eda (Switzer) Brent of Apalachin, N.Y.

He earned his undergraduate degree from SUNY Cortland, master's degree from SUNY Albany, and his Master of Education degree from Lehigh University. He was the director and owner of the Grief and Bereavement Center of the Lehigh Valley for 30 years and was currently a guidance counselor for Upper Bucks Vo-Tech.

He previously served as a member of the consistory at Old Zionsville U.C.C.

He was a loving father and husband who put family and others before himself.

He is survived by his wife; parents; sons, Christopher E. and his wife Colleen of Allentown and Christopher's mother, Kathleen T., Bryan Miller and his wife Nora of Fulton, Md., and Joseph Rivera of Northampton; daughters, Arielle J. of Zionsville and Corrie Miller of Catasauqua; brother, Russel of Woodland, Wash.; sister, Jennifer and her husband John Hengeveld of Aloha, Ore.; granddaughters, Hannah and Charlotte; four nieces and five nephews.
