Esther J. (Kidd) Wanamaker, 83, of Emmaus, died November 9, 2012, in her home. She was the wife of the late Luther F. Wanamaker for 55 years. She was the daughter of the late Walter G. and Edna E. (Kurtz) Kidd of Catasauqua, and was a graduate of Catasauqua High School.

She was a graduate of the Allentown School of Nursing and was a nurse at Allentown General Hospital for 20 years.

She was a member of Bethel Bible Fellowship Church, Emmaus for over 40 years.

She is survived by daughters, Patricia and her husband Alan Reed, of Kingsport, Tenn., Linda and her husband Charles Kirschner of Allentown, and Brenda and her husband Jeffrey Heilman of Macungie; six grandchildren, Daniel, Joshua and his wife Toni, Audra and Crystal Kirschner, Michael and Kathy Heilman; two great-grandchildren, Jenica and Trista Reed. She was predeceased by a syster, Sylvia Christman.

Services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral home, Emmaus. Calling 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
