Teen girls fight
at LCTI
Two 17-year-old girls from Allentown fought in the cafeteria at Lehigh Career Technical Institute, 4500 Education Park Drive, North Whitehall Township, at 11 a.m. at Oct. 18, State Police Troop M Bethlehem say.
The two were referred to the Lehigh County Impact program, police say.
Driver charged
with DUI
Aaron Christman, 23, of Schnecksville, was involved in a motor vehicle crash on Route 329 West, just east of Mauch Chunk Road, North Whitehall Township at 2:49 a.m. Oct. 6, State Police Troop M Bethlehem say.
Police allege Christman was operating his vehicle under the influence of an alcoholic beverage or controlled substance.
Standard field sobriety tests were conducted and a legal blood draw was collected at the Lehigh County DUI Processing Center.
Police say based on the legal blood draw results, charges were filed before District Judge Jake Hammond, South Whitehall.

State Police Troop M Bethlehem say Daniel R. Simon, 18, of Allentown, was driving a 2007 Volks-wagen GTI downhill on Orchard Road, North Whitehall at 1:21 p.m. on Oct. 15.
Police allege Simon was traveling too fast for wet road conditions and he failed to negotiate a left curve subsequently striking a fire hydrant .
Simon, who police say was not wearing aseat belt, was uninjured, police say.
A 17-year-old male passenger from Slatington also was not wearing a seat belt and sustained minor injury, police say.
Police say the Volkswagen sustained disabling damage to its front end and towed from the scene by Hesch Towing.
Simon was charged with driving too fast for conditions, police say.
Northern Valley Ambulance assisted at the scene.

with having drugs
State Police Troop M Bethlehem say Tecy Lane Andrews III, 22, of Allentown, allegedly had a baggie containing approximately seven grams of suspected marijuana and a glass pipe used for smoking marijuana at the lower ball field at Portland and Levans roads, North Whitehall Township.
Charges were filed before District Judge Jake Hammond, South Whitehall.
