Myrtle A. Tienstra, 98, of Allentown, died Nov. 2, 2012, in Mosser Nursing Home, Upper Macungie Township.

She was the widow of John F. Tienstra.

Born in Chicago, Ill., she was a daughter of the late Edward and Anna (Swanson) Borg.

She was a homemaker, and a loving wife and mother.

Her survivors include a son, Jon F. and wife, Kathleen, of Fogelsville; daughter, Myrna A., wife of Bruce Hollenbeck of Orefield, four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Her services were private.
