Parkland High School theater students have been rehearsing to present their version of the play"Almost Maine."

This romantic comedy, comprised of nine short plays, is written by John Cariani, an actor best known for his role as a crime scene technician on television's "Law & Order."

"Almost Maine," centered of course in the fictional town of Almost, Maine, delves into the lives and loves of township residents one wintry Friday night.

"Almost Maine" will be presented 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 9 and 10 in the Parkland High School auditorium.

Tickets are $8 for students and senior citizens, and $10 for adults.
