Nov. 8

The Kiwanis Club of Emmaus is now holding a Florida fruit sale selling tangelos, navel oranges and grapefruit. Call 610-965-3977 to place an order. The last day to order will be Nov. 18 for a Dec. 7 pickup.

The Alburtis Lockridge Historical Society, 406 Franklin Street, Alburtis, will hold a general membership meeting with officer nominations 7 p.m. at their headquarters.

Nov. 9

Lehigh Carbon Community College's Foundation will hold a two-day craft fair 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the community services center on the main campus in Schnecksville. For more information, contact Jane Wilchak by emailing jwilchak@lccc. org or calling 610-799-1929.

Nov. 10

The Emmaus Moravian Church, 146 Main St., Emmaus, will host a holiday craft and vendor show 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be more than 40 crafters and vendors selling Christmas crafts, ornaments, decorations, jewelry, kitchenware, food, candles and other unique gifts.

St. Peter's Union Church, 7863 St. Peters Road, Macungie, will host their annual fall bazaar 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be homemade food, a flea market, holiday gifts, craft tables, raffles and a used book sale. For more information or to rent a space, call 610-966-3030.

Holiday Craft Bazaar at Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 535 W. Emaus Ave., Allentown, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The kitchen will be open.

Nov. 13

T.R.I.A.D. and Senator Bob Mensch invite the public to their monthly meeting where they will honor veterans at Emeritus of Allentown, 1545 Greenleaf St. A free continental breakfast will be served at 8 a.m. followed by Mensch's presentation to veterans and the regular meeting. The Village of Willow Lane, 6488 Alburtis Road, Macungie, will host a free and informative seminar about the aid and attendance benefits for veterans 6 to 7 p.m. Thomas R. Dye, director of veterans affairs, will discuss how to apply for this benefit and what is needed to qualify. Please RSVP by Nov. 9 by calling 610-421-8100.

Emmaus Historical Society will meet 7 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, 5th & Chestnut streets, Emmaus, for a regular meeting and program, "Honoring Emmaus WWII Veterans and the Making of Emmaus WWII Veterans Book."

The Friends of Lower Macungie Library will hold their November book sale at the library, 3450 Brookside Road, Macungie, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Nov. 16 and 17. All proceeds will benefit the library. For more information, contact the library at 610-966-6864 or visit www.lowermaclib.org.

Old Zionsville UCC Church, 5981 Fountain Road, Old Zionsville, will host an all you can eat breakfast 7 to 11 a.m. There will be a cost for guest six and over. The public is welcome to attend.
