Leroy N. Haas, Jr., 55, of Center Valley, formerly of Schnecksville, died Oct. 24, 2012, in his home.

Born Jan. 14, 1957, in Allentown, he was the son of Carlene M. (Frederick) Haas of Wescosville and the late Leroy N. Haas Sr.

He formerly was a mechanic at Sands Bros., Quakertown.

He was an active volunteer and life member of the Community Fire Co. No. 1, Schnecksville, where he recently received "A Friend of the Fair" award.

He was a member of The Old Time Plow Boys Club, Inc. and The Antique Engine, Tractor and Toy Club Inc.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Nicole L. Haas, with whom he resided; sister Darlene M. Laub of Schnecksville; and grandchildren Kevin A. and Syrena M. Lindaberry.

A celebration of life service will take place at 3 p.m. Nov. 4, at Community Fire Co. No. 1, 4550 Old Packhouse Road, Schnecksville.

The family will receive guests following the service at a reception in the hall.
