Larry C. Ruppert, 57, of Alburtis, died October 22, 2012, at home after a long battle with multiple myeloma. He was the husband of Paulette R. (Ambrose) Ruppert. They celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary on June 24. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of Elmer C. and Helen (Sayuk) Ruppert.

His entire working career was being a senior technical support engineer. He worked for Air Products for 14 years before retiring this year. He worked as a consultant for Ricomm and did the same work for Meridian Bank, Asplundh Tree Service, Bethlehem Steel, Burns Computing, Buckeye Pipeline and Northampton Community College.

He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Trexlertown, where he served as financial secretary and elder until his death. He was also a former president and vice president of church council, a deacon, head of the finance committee, senior youth group parent and head of the Long Range Planning Committee.

His outside interests included bowling in the Sokol Bowling League in Allentown and golfing. He was a die-hard Steelers fan.

He is survived by his wife; parents; daughter, Michelle M. and her fiance, Antonio M. Hernandez of Alburtis; sister, Donna M. and her husband Girard Reilly of Bath; granddaughter, Laylah Kimberly-Rose. He was predeceased by a daughter, Kimberly in 1990.
