Eva Suzanne Krall Forndran, 88, of Emmaus, died October 23, 2012, in her home. She endured a long time with frontal temporal dementia (Pick's Disease). She was the wife of the late Werner Ernst Forndran, artist and pigment chemist, who died in 1990. Born in Vienna, Austria, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Bertha (Legerer) Krall.

She attended the Fine Arts Academy in Vienna and received her license in early childhood education in Freiburg, Germany before emigrating to the United States in 1957 with her family.

She lived in Cleveland, Ohio and New York City before retiring in Emmaus in 1988.

She became a certified Montessori teacher in the early 1970s completing the Progressive Montessori course guided by Mrs. Wallbank of London through the United Nations School. In New York City, she founded and directed the Quo Vadis Montessori Day Care School.

While living in Emmaus and Upper Milford Township, she completed her doctorate from the National Association of Expressive Arts Therapy Institute.

She was a member of St. Ann's R.C. Church, Emmaus where she was a member of the choir for many years and participated as an Oblate of the Transfiguration Monastery of the Benedictine Sisters.

She loved gardening, art and craft works and gathered musical instruments from around the world.

She is survived by a daughter, Angelika B., with whom she resided; beloved relatives in Austria and Germany. She was predeceased by a daughter, Monika R. who died June 30, 2012.

Services will be held 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. in St. Ann's Catholic Church, Emmaus. Calling hour will be Wednesday 9 to 10:15 a.m. in the funeral home.
