The Lower Macungie Middle School Student Council is sponsoring their second annual coat drive through Nov. 12. They are collecting clean and gently used men's, women's and children's coats and jackets to be donated to students and members of the community. Donations may be dropped off at the school during school hours or can be sent with a student.

Willow Lane Elementary School will hold their costume parade 9:30 a.m. at the school.

Nov. 1

Wescosville Elementary School Home Access Center, the web based application allowing parents to view their student's information, will be closed through Nov. 8.

Wescosville Elementary School will hold their Owl Assembly with the fourth grade performing 10 a.m. and again 1:30 p.m.

Alburtis Elementary School will hold their homework club for grades three, four and five 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the school.

Nov. 2

Today is the end of the first marking period in East Penn elementary schools.

Today is the last day of the marking period at East Penn middle schools.

Willow Lane Elementary School will hold their incredible café 9 to 10 a.m. at the school.

Alburtis Elementary School will hold their reading challenge assembly 2 to 3 p.m. at the school.

The Willow Lane Elementary School PTO will host Family Bingo Night with doors opening 6:15 p.m. at the school. The first of the 12 games of bingo will begin 7 p.m. There will be door prizes and a 50/50 drawing. Hot dogs, Philadelphia pretzels and baked goods will be available to purchase. All proceeds will benefit the projects of the PTO.

Nov. 3

Emmaus High School will hold SAT and subject tests 8 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the school.

The Shoemaker Elementary School PTO will hold a pancake breakfast 8 to 10 a.m. at Applebee's, 7150 Hamilton Blvd., Trexlertown.

The Wescosville Elementary School Trailblazers will blaze a woodland trail through the school's backyard to create a true outdoor classroom noon to 4 p.m.

Nov. 5

Alburtis Elementary School will hold their reading challenge kick-off.

Lincoln Elementary School will have a Smile Pa. mobile dentist visit.

Jefferson Elementary School will hold a roller skating party 5:30 p.m. at RollerMotion, 1609 Trexlertown Road, Macungie.

Nov. 6

Emmaus High School will have an 11 a.m. dismissal for an Act 80 day.

Eyer Middle School will have an 11 a.m. early dismissal.

Lower Macungie Middle School will have an 11 a.m. early dismissal.

Lower Macungie Middle School will hold a students versus staff football game.

Alburtis Elementary School will hold their homework club for grades three, four and five 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the school.

The Jefferson Elementary School PTO will meet 6:30 to 8 p.m.
