Gary L. Hyrowich, 61, of Ironton, died Oct. 20, 2012, at home.

Born in Orefield, he was the son of the late Harry T. Sr. and Mary (Wasko) Hyrowich.

He was formerly a sales representative at Gilboy Ford, Whitehall, and was employed at the former Bethlehem Steel Corp.

He was a Vietnam veteran serving in the U.S. Army.

His survivors include a son, Duane L. and his fiancé, Naiyu Hayes, of Fullerton, Calif.; siblings Harry T. Jr. of Allentown, David W. of Kempton, Linda S. Dillon of Kutztown, Kathleen L. Hyro-wich of Orefield; and a grandson Austin J. Hyrowich of Fullerton, Calif.

He was predeceased by a brother, Jeffrey, in 2005.

His service will be private. There will be no calling hour.
