· Station 37 recalled to assist police at 2642 Sean Drive to gain access to a resident who was ill, 7:20 p.m.

· Stations 36 and 37 responded to a smoke detector alarm at 443 Fifth St., set off by steam, 9:54 a.m.

· All stations attended the fall festival parade and assisted with lineup, 7 p.m.

· Station 38 on standby at a controlled burn for a sports bonfire at Whitehall High School, 7:55 p.m.

Oct. 12

· Mutual aid to the Catasauqua/Han-Le-Co Fire Department for a small plane crash in a field to the rear of Cambridge Place brought out Station 36 for 3641, 6:42 p.m.

· A fire alarm at Ramada Inn, 1500 MacArthur Road, brought out Stations 36, 39 and 40, 7:34 p.m.

· Mutual aid to Woodlawn Fire Department for a fire alarm at LA Fitness, 1515 Mauch Chunk Road, brought out Station 36 for 3631, 7:58 p.m.

· Smoke investigation in the area of Fullerton Avenue near Kimmet Avenue, found to be from a wood-burning stove, brought out Stations 36 and 39, 10:36 p.m.

· A motor vehicle accident with injuries and spill on MacArthur Road northbound in front of Sears Auto Center brought out Station 36, 3:56 p.m.

· Mutual aid to the Woodlawn Fire Department for a fire alarm at LA Fitness, 1515 Mauch Chunk Road, brought out Station 36 for 3631, 8:55 a.m.

· A reported smell in the back room of Bottom Dollar, 1167 MacArthur Road, found to be an underground leak outside, brought out Stations 36 and 37, 8:21 p.m.

· Stations 36 and 40 responded to a motor vehicle accident with rescue and a pedestrian struck at Chestnut and Ruch streets, 12:55 p.m.

· Station 35 fire police assisted police with traffic control at South Church and Ruchsville Road, 6:48 p.m.

Oct. 18

· Mutual aid to the Woodlawn Fire Department for a fire alarm at the Quality Inn, 1715 Plaza Lane, South Whitehall, brought out Station 36 for 3631, 9:01 a.m.

· Station 38 attended a controlled burn at Bob Warke Field, 3103 Lehigh St., 7:30 p.m.

Oct. 19

· Stations 5 and 39 provided mutual aid to the Coplay Fire Department for smoke in the dwelling, found to be burnt food, 6:06 p.m.

· A fire alarm at 3690 Lehigh St. for fire alarm at Hair Cut USA brought out Stations 36 and 39, 7:24 p.m.

· An odor of something burning at Orchard Drive Apartments, Apt. 6, found to be a pan of baby bottles being sterilized gone dry, brought out Stations 36, 39 and 40, 10:06 p.m.

Oct. 20

· Mutual aid to Han-Le-Co for vehicle rescue and rollover on Route 22 westbound between Airport Road and Fullerton Avenue brought out Station 36 for 3641, 12:12 p.m.
