A Northampton man was struck by a vehicle Oct. 16 shortly before 1 p.m.
Edward Lutz, 56, of Banks Street, Northampton, was standing at the side of his parked vehicle on Chestnut Street when he was struck by a vehicle operated by William Marine, 81, of Lehigh Street, Whitehall, police said.

Vehicles collide
A two-vehicle crash on Oct. 16 brought Coplay Police to North Fifth and Chestnut streets.
Police said a 2009 Pontiac operated by Richard Sosoka, 81, of Slatington, was traveling north on North Fifth Street. He stopped at the stop sign at Chestnut Street and, because he did not see anyone, he pulled out, police said.
