Paul E. Meck, 86, of Palm Bay, Fla., formerly of Alburtis, died October 19, 2012, in his residence. He was the husband of the late Winifred (Boyer) Meck, who died in 2000. He was a son of the late Paul E. Sr. and Elsie V. (Eck) Meck.

He was a member of Church of the Good Shepherd UCC, Alburtis.

He was a member of the former Pennsylvania State Guard Reserve, Alburtis. He also served his country as a U.S. Army veteran during World War II.

He was employed part-time as an auction assistant at Alderfer Auction Company Inc., Harleysville, until his retirement in 2001.

He is survived by a daughter, Judith K. and her husband Robert E. Miller, Palm Bay, Fla.; son, Scott P., Macungie; sisters, Joyce E. and her husband Linford Bastian, Macungie, Annabelle F. wife of the late Anthony Zibura, Allentown, Lucille J. and her husband Ernest E. Geist, Lakeland, Fla.; brother, Willard D. of Mertztown; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Carl.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, at 11 a.m. in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 East Weis St., Topton. Friends may call Thursday, from 10 to 11 a.m., in the funeral home.
