Henry L. Tolotti

Henry L. Tolotti, 67, of South Whitehall Township, died Oct. 8, 2012, in his home.

He and his wife Rita L. (Wirth) Tolotti were married 33 years.

Born in Brockton, he was the son of the late Henry and Mary (Bonschak) Tolotti.

Since the late 1970s, he worked in the financial industry, lastly as a senior vice president of Wells Fargo Bank, Allentown, until retiring in 2007.

He served on the South Whitehall Township Board of Authority from 1996-2010.

He received a Bronze Star medal of honor for his service in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, where he was a scout handler of the war dogs protecting American lives.

His memberships included the First Calvary Division of Vietnam Veterans and Silver Creek Country Club, with which he was a member for 25 years.

He graduated from Tamaqua High School and later from Lehigh University in 1968.

He was a patriot and avid historian.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters Ashley A. of Allentown, Abby A. of Philadelphia; sisters LaVerne Carter of Brockton and Joyce Roman of Virginia; nieces and nephews.
