Helen Jones, 85, of Breinigsville, formerly of New Tripoli, died Oct. 14, 2012, in her home.

She and her husband Theron J. Jones, celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary in May.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late William and Anna (Petrow) Zana.

During her early years, she was educated in both American and Greek schools.

She was a supervisor for the former Western Electric Co., in Laureldale, during the 1950s and later a floor worker for the former Fernbrook Manufacturing Co., Neffs, for 20 years before retiring in 1987.

She was a member of Jacob's Church, Jacksonville, Lynn Township, and Slatington Chapter 458, Order of Eastern Star.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter Dr. Michele D. Jones of Allentown; a son Michael D. and his wife Julie of Palmerton; sisters Stella Lewandowski of Reading, and Stassa "Tessie" Fecera of Birdsboro; a brother Theodore Zana of Reading; and grandsons Dustin and Theron Jones.

Her memorial service will be 11 a.m. Oct. 18, in Nester Funeral Home, New Tripoli .
