Faye A. George

Faye A. George of Breinigs-ville, died Oct. 6, 2012.

She was the wife of the late Robert W. George.

Born Jan. 25, 1935, in New Tripoli, she was the daughter of Helen (Sittler) Follweiler and the late Elwood W. Follweiler.

A 1953 graduate of Slatington High School, she worked for Oram Studio and Hess Brothers as a photo coloration artist, in her early years.

She was a homemaker the majority of her married life.

A faithful member of Faith Evangelical Free Church, she actively participated in the senior citizen group at Faith, as well as with the Alburtis Senior Citizens.

Her passions included gardening, planting flowers, cooking and baking.

A yearly highlight was attending and participating in the Allentown Fair.

She and her husband would enter baked goods and a wide variety of items for judging.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter, Lynn and husband, David Bogert of Alburtis; and a brother, William Follweiler.

There was a very special place in her heart for each of her grandchildren, as well as for her "grand dog," Maggie.

"Granna" will be deeply missed by Cory and Jodi.

She was predeceased by a brother, Paul Follweiler.

Her memorial service will take place 11 a.m. on Oct. 27, in Schmoyer Funeral Home, 8926 Brookdale Road, Brein-igsville. Calling hour begins 10 a.m.
