Dorothy Mae Kohler, 84, of Schnecksville, died Oct. 13, 2012, in Phoebe Home, Allentown.

She was the wife of the late Joseph P. Kohler, who died March 28.

Born May 24, 1928, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Alfred J. and Anna (Beil) Beltz.

As a young adult, she was employed as a legal transcriptionist.

Later she was a secretary at the former Hess's Department Store, Allentown.

She also assisted her husband with bookkeeping for the family business, Geo. A. Kohler & Bro., Egypt.

She was a member of Egypt Community Church, Whitehall.

Her survivors include sons Randall J. and his wife, Donna, of Orefield, Wayne R. and his wife, JoAnne of Macungie; grandchildren, Sandra, Holly, Christopher and Jennifer.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Oct. 18, in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with the Rev. Larry E. Pickar Sr. officiating.

Family and friends may pay their respects from 9-10:30 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home.

Interment will follow the service at Fairview Cemetery, Whitehall.
