The Bath Halloween Parade will take place Tuesday, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m. The rain date is Oct. 24.

The route starts at Broad and East Main streets.

The event is sponsored by Bath volunteer firefighters.

The Bath Area Food Bank will hold a spaghetti dinner and basket social 4-7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, at Christ United Church, Bath.

A free will offering will also be taken.

All proceeds will go to the food bank.

The food bank is in need of peanut butter, canned soup, hamburger and tuna helper, boxed macaroni and cheese, canned pasta, gelatin, tuna, spaghetti sauce, side dishes and cereal. Monetary donations are always appreciated.

The ladies needlecrafters at Emmanuel's Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, Moore Township, have started their new season. They meet 7 p.m. Tuesdays in the downstairs parlor.

Crafters of all kinds and levels are welcome. For more information, call 610-837-1741.

George Wolf Elementary School is collecting clean, gently worn winter outerwear, coats, hats, gloves, snow pants and boots through Nov. 16.

If your child is in need of items listed above, send a note to the teacher and the school will do its best to make a fit.
