Ann Kochenash Pristash, 94, of Covington, Va., died Oct. 9, 2012, in her home, She was the wife of the late Andrew Jake Pristash.

Born in Coplay, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Katherine (Broshyna) Kochenash.

She taught upholstery at Jackson River Vocational School, Covington, Va.

She was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Covington, and of Episcopal Church Women, Daughters of the King, and the altar guild.

She was a member and past worthy matron of the former Martha chapter 21, Order of the Eastern Star, the Woman's Club and the Rainbow Garden Club, all in Covington.

She is survived by three daughters, Kathy Pristash, Julieann and her husband Paul Hatam and Tina and her husband Mike Moore; a son, Joe and his wife Ellie; two granddaughters, Heather and her husband Terrance Watson and Kathryn Hatam; and a sister, Catherine Kochenash of Northampton.

She was predeceased by five brothers, Milton, Walter "Eddie," Charles, Paul and Peter.
