DUI

Wildalee Acevedo, 31, of Breinigsville, was arrested for DUI on State Route 222 southbound between Kressler Road and Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 3:37 a.m. Sept. 16. Acevedo was stopped for multiple traffic violations and was allegedly found to be under the influence of alcohol.

Christian Aviles, 28, of New York, N.Y., was arrested for DUI on Interstate 78 at Summit Lawn, Salisbury Township, 1:01 a.m. Sept. 5. Aviles was stopped for a traffic violation and was allegedly found to be under the influence of a controlled substance.

Andrew Rieser, 25, of Allentown, was arrested for DUI in the 1100 block of S. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 1:29 a.m. Oct. 5. Rieser was stopped for multiple traffic violations and was allegedly found to be under the influence of alcohol.

Matthew Henzler, 23, of Macungie, was arrested for DUI on East Texas Road at Lamplighter Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 1:19 a.m. Oct. 6. Henzler was stopped for a traffic violation and was allegedly found to be under the influence of alcohol.

Christopher Tarantino, 48, of Equinunk, was arrested for DUI on Ridge Street at Third Street, Emmaus, 2:28 a.m. Oct. 6. Tarantino was stopped for multiple traffic violations and was allegedly found to be under the influence of alcohol.

A juvenile male was arrested for DUI on Hamilton Boulevard at Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 10:05 p.m. Oct. 6. The actor was stopped for multiple traffic violations and was allegedly found to be under the influence, and in possession, of a controlled substance.

Drug possession

Stacey Snyder, 27, of Emmaus, was charged with drug possession on Chestnut Street at State Route 29, Emmaus, 10:29 p.m. Oct. 3. Snyder was stopped for a traffic violation and was allegedly found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia.

Terroristic threats

A 13-year-old male, of Allentown, allegedly threatened another student several times at Lower Macungie Middle School, Lower Macungie Township, 1:39 p.m. Oct. 6.

Criminal mischief

An unknown actor shot a BB pellet at a window in the 7800 block of Sweetwood Drive, Lower Macungie Township, between 12:01 a.m. Sept. 20 and 8:30 a.m. Sept. 21. The window had a small hole from the BB.

An unknown actor shot a BB pellet at a window in the 6000 block of Timberknoll Drive, Lower Macungie Township, between 2 p.m. Sept. 30 and 1 p.m. Oct. 1. A window of the rear patio was targeted resulting in $400 worth of damage.

A 23-year-old male was charged with criminal mischief in the 6300 block of Vera Cruz Road, Upper Milford Township, 4:25 p.m. Oct. 5. The actor allegedly punched the victim's front door causing a glass window to break.

An unknown actor placed feces inside a mailbox on Chablis Drive, Lower Macungie Township, between 8 p.m. Oct. 5 and noon Oct. 6.

Retail theft

A 17-year-old male, of Macungie, was charged with retail theft at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 9:51 p.m. Oct. 3. The actor allegedly attempted to steal $40.88 worth of gum and air fresheners by putting them in his pants.

Branden David, 18, of Allentown, was charged with retail theft at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 5:53 p.m. Oct. 5. David allegedly stole a pack of cell phone screen protectors.

Marie Leibensperger, 52, of Kutztown, was charged with retail theft at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 7:14 p.m. Leibensperger allegedly attempted to steal $17.88 worth of merchandise.

Burglary

An unknown actor attempted to force open a window at a residence in the 1000 block of Tree Line Drive, Lower Macungie Township, between 3:48 and 4 p.m. Sept. 30. The actor broke the window frame and glass but did not gain entry to the house.

An unknown actor entered a barn in the 7300 block of Alburtis Road, Lower Macungie Township, between 10 p.m. Oct. 9 and 3:45 p.m. Oct. 10. The actor broke a hinge with an unknown object. Nothing was taken.

ID theft

An unknown actor used a Macungie resident's information to file a federal tax return. The actor filed the taxes before the victim and received all of the tax refunds from the IRS.

False alarm

Jacobson Warehouse Company, 7570 Industrial Park Way, Macungie was cited for allowing four false alarms in a 12-month period.
