Houshang G. Hamadani, M.D., 75, of Salisbury Township, died October 6, 2012, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Imelda (Rodriguez) Hamadani. They were married for 45 years. Born in Tehran, Iran, he was a son of the late Ali and Malak Hamadani. He came to the United States in 1960 for his residency in psychiatry and was in practice in Allentown since 1979.

He was an officer in many professional and civic organizations.

He is survived by his wife; daughters, Jasmine and her husband Roger Lipman and Roya and her husband Michael Hyduk; grandchildren, Amelia, Frankie and Maxx Lipman; sister Pari; twin brother, Parviz.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, at the Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, 1227 W. Hamilton St., Allentown. Calling hour starting 10 a.m. in the funeral home.
