AARP Chapter 3115 will meet today, Thursday, Oct. 4, at noon at the American Club, 300 Cherry St., Coplay.

After the social hour when refreshments will be available, guitarist and vocalist Albert Jinks will entertain. New members are welcome.

The Woman's Club of Whitehall Township will meet Monday, Oct. 8, in Parker Hall on the lower level of Faith Lutheran Church, 3355 MacArthur Road, Whitehall.

The program will include piano duets by Lina Huett and Barbe Able.

Members are reminded to bring books for youth in grades K through 12 for the literary project. Donations also are needed for the Whitehall Food Bank and will be accepted.

New members are always welcome.
