Robert T. "Pop Pop" Roth, 88, of Alburtis, living in the home he built with the help of family and friends, died September 26, 2012, in the Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown, with his family and friends by his side. He was the husband of Hope V. (Tews) Roth for 57 years. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Truman and Hilda (Stephens) Roth.

He was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Allentown.

He proudly served in both the U.S. Army and Air Corps during World War II in the Midwest and Alaska.

He worked for many years as a molder in the Emmaus Foundry and prior to retirement was an electrician and washer/dryer repairman for Olympic Gardens and Penn Crest Apartment complexes, in addition to several laundromats.

He enjoyed fishing, motorcycles and the annual family vacations in Ocean City, Md.

He is survived by his wife; son, Michael J. Tokar Sr. and his wife Corinne of Allentown; daughter, Terry L. and her husband Vincent Burger of Macungie; grandchildren, Melissa and her husband David Schreffler, Michael Tokar Jr. and his wife Shannon, along with Madison and Price Burger; great-grandchildren, Zachary, Nathaniel and Kamryn; sister-in-law Mary "Betty" of Allentown. He was predeceased by a daughter, Robin M. in 1967; sister, Doris Vogel; brothers, Paul and Lamont; stepbrother, Ted Gregory.
