Loretta S. Leibensperger, 87, of Emmaus, died September 27, 2012, in Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the wife of the late William H. Leibensperger for 62 years. She was a daughter of the late Edward and Pauline (Iobst) McElroy.

She was a 1943 graduate of Emmaus High School.

She was a member of Emmaus Moravian Church where she was a member of the Willing Workers-Peanut Gang, Women's Fellowship and 50 Plus.

She is survived by sons, William and his fiancee Eileen Rothenberger and James, both of Emmaus; daughters, Peggy and her husband George Vargo, of Allentown, and Mary Lou and her husband Richard Quier, of Orefield; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, John E. McElroy, of Emmaus, and sister, Mary Guth, of Macungie.
