Donald Charles Muth, 79, of Zionsville, formerly of Emmaus, died September 25, 2012. He was the husband of the late Dorothy C. (Moyer) Muth, who died May 14, 2002. Born in Emmaus, he was a son of the late Merle (Marcks) and Harry Edward Muth.

He was a member of the Emmaus Moravian Church and a member of the Moravian Brass Choir.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He was an optician at Art Schneck Optical, Emmaus, for 26 years prior to retiring in Oct. 1998.

He was a life member of the Macungie Fire Co., a member of the Emmaus Sentinels, Reading Buccaneers Drum and Bugle Corps, Reading, Allentown Marine Band and Macungie Band.

He is survived by a daughter, Donna L. Reidenhour; son, Barry L.; son-in-law, Richard Reidenhour; daughter-in-law, Jocelyn Muth; grandson Wade Reidenhour.
