Randy Muniz, 57, of Walnutport, died on Sept. 19, 2012, in Gracedale, Upper Nazareth Township.

Born Aug. 10, 1955, in Palmerton, he was the son of Schirlene S. (Anthony) Benninger of Walnutport and the late Joseph Muniz.

He was a custodian for the Northern Lehigh School District for several years.

Prior to that, he worked for Xerox Corp in New York and the former New Jersey Zinc Co., Palmerton.

He was a member of the Walnutport VFW and the Diamond Fire Company, Walnutport.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Michael S. of Palmerton; grandson Michael A. of Palmerton; brothers Thomas A. and his companion, Wendy Reiman, of Orlando, Fla., Michael A. of Lewisberry; sister Tina M. Repnyek and her husband, Brian, of Allentown; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
